We are pleased to announce that Nichol Figueiredo, founder of Capital Strategic Solutions, will participate in the New England Chapter of American Public Works Association (NEAPWA) in the NEAPWA Chapter Connects Virtual Seminar - How to Market Your Department on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Nichol Figueiredo will join panelists Sarah Colvin, Communications Manager of the Cape Cod Commission, Kevin Elliot, Senior Marketing & Communications Specialists of Applied Research Associates, and Susan Petroni, Publisher and Editor of the Framingham Source to discuss the challenges of reaching your targeted audience, including residents, business owners and decision-makers regarding the public works’ services, programs and projects.
“Community engagement looks a lot different from 20 years ago, when I began my career in infrastructure. The tools we use at work, home and everywhere in between shape our everyday lives. In order to best serve your community, you need to shape the experience from their perspective. This is a critical piece for connecting with your community and decision-makers.” said Nichol Figueiredo, Capital Strategic Solutions.
The panel will discuss creative ways to enhance your communication, and market your department. It will begin with presenters giving an overview of their experience in this area. The session will end with a panel discussion answering questions about tackling communications in this area.
